Demand for home inspectors and maintenance service professionals is on the rise as more and more homes in Tampa are seeking the forclosure route. Due to the fact that foreclosure homes in Tampa lie vacant until auctioned, there is a huge market for home inspectors and home maintenance people now. This has lead to some movement in an otherwise dull market.
It is not rare for a home inspector to check out up to 700 Tampa foreclosure homes each week, which is almost twice the workload from previous year. This figure indicates that the foreclosure saga is not going to send anytime soon and these professionals are most likely to remain in business for the next few years.
While this may be the only good news doing the rounds, bank foreclosure listings continued to lengthen in Tampa, Hillsborough, and Nashua counties. Hillsborough County has recorded over 550 foreclosures this year, which is a significant increase of over 80% from 2007 and five times the number recorded in 2005. Unrelenting number of foreclosures by state have everyone worried nationwide.
According to a report released in August 2007 by the New Hampshire Banking Association, it was predicted that foreclosures in Georgia State would effectively increase through the first half of this year as problems related to ARMs (adjustable rate mortgage) and subprime mortgages would continue to plague the American economy. This report also make the predication that based on the total forclosures as compared with the total number of mortgages, the situation in US wouldn’t remind anyone of the early 1990s recession and economic crisis.
Signifying hope for Americans who are increasingly feeling the heat of the subprime crisis, the report has brought in some good news, only if just.
